I made a Facebook post to my friend..
“I just got so lucky. Well kinda.
So ive been jamming the 6max turbos for around an hour or so and was down $100. Was getting so frustrated at getting bad beats on me, one game i had got 3 in a row.
Luke was tilted.. very very tilted. If my AK lost to another KQ i was going to shoot someone.
So i looked at my account and thought &*%$ it. Im going to win it all back. I closed my eyes, cried a little as i click on a $100 6 max hyper turbo game.
Boooom, it started, no turning back now. I look around the table and there was 5 supernovas and then me, a bronze star. Lady luck was going to need to be on my side here if i had any chance of winning or coming second in this.
After a few orbits im sitting in 2nd with 700ish, (ave 500). Im in the sb with 44 which i shove on the short stack (390), he calls with Q10. He flops a full boat.
Ugh…
again this sucked ass. Two hands later however i doubled up with QQ.
Anyway i managed to get heads up. I had (900) he had (2100).
Two bad beats later.
I ship it for $380 😀
In conclusion, dont tilt. It can make you do stupid shit. I got away lucky.
At the time of entering this game, my account was at $109 😀
So after writing this I thought there must be others who have done some pretty stupid shit when being tilted and thought id make a fun post to see what others have done when being tilted?

i used to take it to the heads up cash tables all the time when i was tilted, but thankfully i have a lot more discipline these days.
did win $600 or so in a night when i put my whole roll down at 1/2 heads up one night back on full tilt, that was fun.
nowadays $30 and $60 heads up hyper turbos would be my kryptonite, especailly when i am playing on my iphone. but once again running ok at them, so no worries mate!
some years back when i used to play cash .5/1$ and i was some stacks down i went to the 2/4$ tables and tried to win it back fast. lol
nowadays i just throw my keyboard or my mouse through the room and stop playin.

i once ft bubbled 30r on stars losing AA to AK so i punched my laptop screen and it cracked and i was like fml so i unhooked the hard line and power cord and from my desk chair i tossed the laptop out the office door shook my head stood up picked up the laptop walked up the stairs and promptly tossed it backdown the stairs, dumbest part was plugging it back in after thinking it may work still it didnt and i was off to Best Buy.

I have a calculator that takes a good throwing occasionally. It hasn’t seen the wall much though since I read The mental game of poker. Damn good book for tilt control.

I Think at some point or other I have done all of the above, burned off bankroll in cash or higher stakes SNGs, broken screens, laptops, mice, doors etc but funnily enough none of this actually makes you feel any better about it. Now I punch the s**t out of my punch bag (takes it a lot better than the screen) and stop playing for a while. If I do feel the need to play then I go to micro stakes 6max SNGs and play like a lunatic for a while.
i used to get pretty heated in live settings when i was younger (18-19) but now it takes quite a lot.
i broke a keyboard taking 15th in the Sunday Warm Up, getting TT in against AJ on Txx and him perfect-perfecting to win. but nowadays online its usually just an occasional tool-out in chat and touchdown-spiking a mouse or two.
…by the way, i recommend the logitech brand wireless mouses. despite the destruction i put on them, ive only had to buy 3 in my lifetime.

I can vouch for the Logitechs, too. I've gone through a couple. My best tilt was probably the time I Gronkowski spiked it, had it bounce straight up and hit me in the face, and proceeded to calmyly walk outside and throw it as high as I could into the air and watch it smash in the street. Some lady was walking by when it happened and I just said, “we had a falling out” and she stared at me like I had 3 heads.

The higlighted sounds very familiar. I took 18th in Sunday Million from being 2nd in chips after losing with JJ to AQ then an orbit later getting it in with AK v AQ (again) was an A high flop and he got runner runner flush to his Q, the ultimate tilt card on rvr was the K clubs to complete his flush. I didn't break anything this time, just spent 10mins puking down the toilet, before calling a poker buddy.

I've spiked a mostly full 2 liter off my 4th floor balcony down at the sidewalk, but I think the thing I regret the most is whining about bad luck to friends. It just brings other people down and especially when you've already had success or good fortune (in life and/or poker), people just dont want to hear it. I've gotten a lot better about it but its def taken awhile to not do it when things get really bad (and man they can get bad, cant they?). Right now I'm trying to use working out to remove stress while playing/losing… during breaks I do some kind of exercising and I think that's good for a number of reasons.

I tilt raged for like an hour on 10/20 Cash holdem the other night on Full tilt after 6 tables all dissappeared infront me on stars MTT's…all of them were like 70% to win…….dropped another 400 in cash…FML.

Ok the aznallin007 thing is the funniest shit i have ever heard. Not saying I never got teary eyed. Im just too much of a bad ass to fall asleep right afterwards.
For me, it's the ever increasing hole in the wall next to my computer and that thing where your fist hurts so bad that it shakes on it's own. The only thing that has stopped me from punching the wall more is the sudden presence of a wire that says something about Type MN 600V. Now that is tilt control.

prolly the worst thing i have ever done is think that martingale blackjack system can work, and i punted my whole roll on 888 in about 5 minutes, about $800 at the time but that was most of my total roll. luckily i managed to rebuild and i havent really played a hand of online blackjack since

I use to go through ear phones…I would tilt and then d-head them….so I figured I would buy expensive ones hoping this would d-ture the be-heading. It worked for a few months. But this was years ago and im better now….but I for my bankroll sake went back to cheap headphones.

Anything thats brakeable within arms length. Smashed my laptop screen at least 5 times, smashed the laptop 3 times, about 3 mouses, smashed 2 desks by putting my fist through the top, 2 pairs of beats and my whole roll and more occasions than i can remember
