Benjamin Reason began playing five-card draw in third grade and transitioned to no limit hold ’em many years later when the poker boom began. After beating the local home games, Ben found his niche in the 18-mans on Pokerstars under the screen name “Reasons14” and became one of the most prominent coaches/players in that format. After Black Friday, Ben signed as a sponsored pro with BlackChipPoker and was profitable in several different games: 6-max hypers, full-ring and 6-man SNGs (regular/turbo). After his SNG ventures, Ben shifted his focus to 6-max cash to develop his post-flop abilities. He eventually transitioned to MTTs, live and online, finding success in both.
