Well Event #13 has come and gone and as with September I ran deep again. Not quite as far as the last time, but I can't say that I was unhappy with my play at all. Finishing 220th out of 16k+ runners is a huge accomplishment and to the TPE nation alive on the rail, thank you all. I don't think that players appreciate how much an impact support from the rail can provide. When you know that you have a bit of an audience and that they support you run good seems to spring up out of no where. Other than Event #13 Sunday was actually fairly successful overall. I ended up cutting my late Sunday schedule short to focus on the Mini, but the day wasn't bad. The Sunday 250k was a bust as usual for me and the Daily 40k just didnt' get rolling. The DNG though was a much better afair than the last time I ran it and I ended up almost cashing in it, ended up going out on a major pot where I was ahead so no complaints from me. Biggest accomplishment for the day yesterday though was hanging tough and holding my own in the Sunday 200k on AP. Hardest part of that tourney was having to sit with Bigdog on my direct left short stacked for a while. Unfortunetly for me when he was moved from my table I had done a very good job of building his stack up (doubled him twice). I ended up finishing 324 out of 1000+ runners after I had satt'd in, but I have to say that I am pretty proud of how I played it. Going to try to add a sat to that event to my routine Sunday schedule as I think this may be a really good place to try to take a big score shot. Oh well, off to work for the day and then back to the grind tonight. Gl to all at the table, this is the Gman signing out. Remember, may all your flushes be Royal!
