What’s New at TPE – Week Ending 3/16/2014
This was an action packed week at TPE. Bigdogpckt5s returned with a vengeance bringing us a new live sweat and shipping two tournaments for the Nation. Merfinis wrapped up his latest series and Cory Waaland is approaching the end of his. Also, we had a new article on brain research and a new Midstakes Living episode. Shout out to TTwist for putting together the long awaited TPE Members Tourney. It was a huge success. Following bigdog’s lead, we had a ton of wins this week. As Marc always says, “ship or die.”

Bigdog is back with a live sweat video series this week. In part 1, he starts with two tables and focuses on the early ante period in the main one where he has 100 bigs after snapping off a bluff for his tournament life. Big dog with a big stack? Yeah, this series is gonna be fun.
TPE Member Hand History Review – OneTime1Time Sunday Million FT
This week, Merfinis wraps up his review of OneTime1Time’s Sunday Million run. In part 5, we start with two tables left and 40bbs. Right away, we pick up AA and scoop another 20bbs. OneTime plays his big stack well and makes it to 3 handed before losing a standard flip and shipping $120K. Sick run bro.
Cory “MJ23STYLEz” Waaland Premiere Video – Main Event Win Mid Stages
Cory returns this week to continue reviewing the final table of his Poker Maximus win. He starts with about 30bbs and uses them well to get heads up by the end of part 10. In part 11, he plays a very long heads up match against a player he has pretty good control over as evident by the fact that he goes from being slightly behind to having a 3 to 1 chip lead by the end of part 11. The TPE Member Tournament was a huge success. We had 32 players including 6 pros with bounties on their heads. Due to their superior teaching skills, none of them made the money but at least TTwizzy made the final table. But for him, of course the real prize was seeing the result of the hard work he put in to make this tournament happen. Congratulations to benw77 who shipped the bragging rights as well as everyone else who participated.
