The World Series of Poker has announced the schedule for this summer. You can find the schedule of events athttp://www.wsop.com/2012.
I was anxiously awaiting the release of this schedule for several reasons, primarily the fact that I have a ton of plans to make and was finding it difficult to do so without know the dates.
One of the biggest plans that needed finalizing was booking the Tournament Poker Edge house for the summer. We had already picked out a great house, but needed to finalize the dates with the owner. This year we will have a few new guys in the house, including new pros Danny "DannyN13" Noseworthy and Marc "aznAllin007" Alioto. I think it is going to be a really fun crew this year and I suspect this is the year that someone binks a big score!
As for me personally, I will be arriving in Las Vegas on May 25th. This will give me a couple of days to settle in and stock the house up before the series actually starts. After a month or so in Vegas I will head back to North Carolina for my birthday (July 4th) and to spend some time with the family. Then it will be back to Vegas through the end of the main event.
I'm waiting to see the Venetian Deepstack schedule before really figuring out what my poker plans are, but I do suspect that my schedule will be lighter this year than it was last year as I would really like to focus my time and energy on promoting TPE.
