Starting off Tuesday after a solid weekend at the tables again feels ooooooo sooooo good! Got to throw down a sweat post in the forums for the first time in a while and I have to say it felt damn nice. Managed a solid 4th place finish in a $2.20 PL HA tourney on Friday which felt really good. I managed a little run good in the mid stage of the tourney during an Omaha level which really catapulted my stack to a top 5 stack and I was in cruise control from there. Here's the hand as best I can remember it:

Gman: AhQhTs9d on the button

PreFlop: MP limps, CO limps, I limp behind, SB folds, BB checks.

Flop: Qc Jh Ks:  MP checks, CO pots it. I call with the straight and a potential redraw to a flush if the turn comes favorably. BB raises it up again and pots. MP folds and CO flats. I call trying to figure out if I am chopping the pot, or if I am feigning a two pair or set looking for a boat.

Turn: Th: Okay so now I am redrawing to the super nuts on top of my made straight, getting pretty excited here to get everything in front of me in.  CO pots which puts him all in, as well as myself and the BB. I am happy to call and so is the BB. The flip them over what am I facing: A set of K's from the CO and a naked pair of Aces in the BB. I am pretty happy to say the least, just need to avoid the board pairing on the river and home sweet home.

River 2h: Yatzee, turned my straight into the nut flush and sent two home packing in the process.

I really have to say if you are a NLHE player you do need to do a little bit of studying/thinking before jumping directly into PLO as there are some differences, I tried to tell these two guys that they should get a TPE subscription and learn from the best, but they weren't having any of it. Oh well their loss is my gain 🙂

Other than that I managed to score a couple of sattelite tickets for a WSOP seat, started in a $2.20 for fun and then managed to take that up two levels to the $60 ticket with a shot at the $460 final tourney for the seat. I am reasonable sure that I am going to stop where I am at currently, but we'll see. I want to watch some of the $460's run and see if the do/how many players show up to see if it is worth a shot or not. Otherwise it was a solid weekend at the cash tables, been hitting up the PLO tables pretty hard and am getting ready to move up to .05/.10 as the BR is in a position to handle it now. If you are looking to play on Merge and you haven't signed up yet, I would highly recommend, the play is very exploitable for someone who is coming off decent results on FTP/Stars pre-Black Friday. If you were excelling over there this is going to be some happy hunting ground. Other than that things have been quiet. I have been following the twitter feeds of friends out in Vegas and wishing I was there too. HawkeyeK9 had himself a pretty good day yesterday and Bigdog as always was crushing someones soul 🙂 Can't wait to see someone streamed at a FT and cheer them on! Gl to all at the tables be they online or live!! This is the Gman signing out!
