Hmmm, so I wrote a post and it disappeared on me. Thankfully it wasn't the next great American novel or I may have been pissed. I thought I would fire up the ole blog and do a little writing since the evening session has been meh at best. I final tabled an ultra micro rebuy on AP which was nice, finished 7th so it wasn't bad for the effort, but still not terribly satisfying. I am working on my last tourney of the evening at the moment, a 10k GTD mid stake tourney on AP. I have started to integrate more mid stakes stuff into my schedule in an effort to begin to move up, and I have to say the transition is a little rough. It is manageable, don't get my wrong, but it is a bit tough. It seems that the mid stakes universe is aggressive as all hell, not particularly better or worse than the micro universe, just a ton more aggressive. I am finding that the precious information you acquire is everything at that level and ones note taking ability is key.
Anyway on to the title of the post, this Sunday is a huge day….MINI FTOPS MAIN EVENT!! and oh yeah some little TPE take over thing 🙂 Actually I am looking forward to what should be an overall very excellent day with a lot of possibilities. I am feeling really good about how I am playing and think that overall my game is reasonably solid, which has me excited for the possibilities. I have been working a lot on eliminating the OOP play from my game and I have to say that I am noticing my stacks are suriving a lot longer and staying more effective. Oh well, I should probably get back to paying attention to this bad boy as I have a little bit of a stack brewing here and I should probably capitalize on it. This is the Gman signing out.
