Poker players awoke this morning to news that PokerStars would potentially be buying Full Tilt Poker.

In a thread on 2+2 a poster speculated that the purchase would include paying back 100% of players Full Tilt balances.

Shaun Deeb also posted on 2+2 that his sources have told him that players would be repaid within 90 days and that Full Tilt poker would be open in the US market.  The thread was closed and it is unclear if he meant that Full Tilt would open in the US immediately or once regulation happens.  Regardless, that statement is obviously speculation and there is currently no confirmation that this information is accurate.

PokerStars has not commented other than to essentially neither confirm nor deny on the PokerStars blog.  Some are taking their non-denial of the story as a positive sign, but time will tell.
