Black Friday has come and gone and today was the first day waking up knowing that I could not fire up tournaments on my favorite poker sites. I leave for a cruise on Monday, so I am taking that opportunity to relax, reflect and clear my mind before returning home and deciding my next steps. I'm considering a move out of country, or at least to a place in the United States where I can play live poker.  I've always been a bit of a "roamer" and have no problem packing up and going somewhere else. My wife and I both work at home so have no real obligation to stay here in North Carolina. That being said, I won't be in any rush to make that decision and will wait to see how things shake out before locking anything in.

One thing I do know is that I'm incredibly proud of the community we have built here at Tournament Poker Edge and I'm 100% commited to sticking around and helping those who choose to stay on as members improve their poker games.  Obviously some will stop playing poker all together, and therefore may not need TPE anymore, and that is fine.  But many of us will continue on playing in some form or another, and many of our members do not live in the United States so the game goes on for them.

Regulation will happen, of this I am sure. And when it does the games will be better than they ever have been before, and I look forward to being as ready as possible to cash in when that happens. I'll continue to study and work on my game, and I'll get plenty of work on my live game while in Vegas this summer. I love poker too much to walk away, so it's really just a matter of how I will play in the future, not if I will play.

I'll still be very active on the site and will be spending time in chat and on the forums.  Keep posting those sweat threads because I want to know how you guys are doing!

Amen P-aire. Going to look into playing a lot more cash live. Starting to think about becoming a regular at the Sands in PA. The game has changed again for all of the US players, not much more than that can be said.
