Poker training site Tournament Poker Edge, who already hosts a very successful poker strategy podcast, has announced the launch of a brand new podcast called The Chirp Herm Show.  The podcast is hosted by online MTT legend Mark "Dipthrong" Herm and takes a bit of a different twist on the standard poker podcast.  While the show does have a poker "backbone" it focuses more on issues surrounding poker and the poker community such substance abuse, something that Herm himself has had his battles with, and he discusses in detail on the first episode of the show.  The second episode will feature a conversation with Amanda Musumeci who's recent relationship struggles with fellow poker pro Ryan Eriquezzo are well documented.

"The show is about poker, but more just my life," said host Mark Herm.  "I am a recovering alcoholic/addict in the poker community and have been involved in internet poker and backing for as long as its been around.  I talk a lot about my battles with addiction, and how its given me a new lease on life, and tons of other stuff.  I'm interested in poker gossip, and relationships in general."

"I was really excited when we first started talking to Mark about this podcast," added Tournament Poker Edge co-founder Derek Tenbusch. "However, when I heard the first episode that he sent me, I knew we had something really special on our hands. And based on the early repsonse from listeners, it seems like we were right."
