Tournament Poker Edge, the premier MTT poker training site, has launched a new format of training video that they are calling “Stop & Go” videos. “Stop & Go” videos are short (typically 5-10 minute) poker training videos focusing on one specific concept. Some examples of topics that will be covered in upcoming videos include “Playing KK on an A high flop”, “Squeezing” and “Cold 4 betting”.

“We are constantly trying to come up with new and creative ways of providing poker training,” said Tournament Poker Edge co-founder Derek Tenbusch. “One thing we realized was that our members do not always have time to sit down and watch a full length video. Or they might just be looking for a quick tip on one concept they are having trouble with or are trying to implement in to their game. So we came up with the Stop & Go concept.”

The name “Stop & Go” is based on the idea that many of the videos can be paused after each street to determine how the viewer would move forward based on the board and action leading up to that street. They can then resume the video to see how the pro played it. It also refers to the idea that members can “stop” what they are doing, watch a quick video and then “go” about implementing the concept in to their game. Additionally, these videos are optimized for mobile devices, making them ideal for members wishing to brush up on their skills while on the “go”.

These videos are in addition to Tournament Poker Edge’s normal output of full length videos and will be released every Wednesday and Saturday. “Stop & Go” videos are available to all members, so now members get even more content at no additional charge.

Great idea! Ssometimes there isn’t enough time for longer videos so getting some quick pointers on a focused topic is terrific. The first one was great.
