https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/sunday-session-live-sweat-part-6/

Merfinis continues his live sweat series this week. In part 6, he gets a spot where he bluff shoves the nut flush draw into top set and gets there on the river for a monster pot which punches his ticket to the final table. In part 7, he makes his way through the final table before losing a big flip vs a pair plus flush draw to take 5th.

Marc Alioto continues his dual hand history review. In part 2, he quickly busts one of them which converts the video into a regular hand history review. He makes a sick 3-bet call with A8o to win a huge pot towards the end of the video. In part 3, he loses a bit of ground but quickly regains it and wins a massive pot in the last hand of the video.

Light 3-betting in Position by Matthew Hunt

Matt Hunt brings us a Stop & Go hand where he 3-bets an active player from the button off of a 25bb stack with J5o. His hand does not matter much because the villain pretty much has to 4-bet or fold.

Getting to the River with the Bottom of Your Range by Rivermen123

Rivermen123 brings us a Stop & Go hand where he plays a flush draw. He decides to double barrel vs. a fish and says that he should have tripled with a small river bluff since a missed draw was the bottom of his range.

The Implied Odds and Fold Equity Continuum by Matthew Hunt

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/the-implied-odds-and-fold-equity-continuum/

The article this week is a great one by Matt Hunt about how fold equity and implied odds are opposite sides of the same coin. In order to have good implied odds, your opponent’s range must be strong which implies you dont have much fold equity. Understanding this will help you to play speculative hands better.
