WCOOP Live Sweat with Andrew Brokos

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/wcoop-live-sweat-with-andrew-brokos-part-5/

Andrew Brokos concludes his live sweat this week. In part 5, he starts with 80bbs deep in the tourney and is one of the biggest stacks at the table. That is until a series of brutal beats start to occur about half way through the vid. My favorite was the safe deuce on the river which gave his opponent trips to crack his aces. Luckily he recalls Timex’s “hero checking” advice and doesn’t go broke there.

TPE Theory: Stud8 with Andrew Brokos

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/tpe-theory-stud8-with-andrew-brokos-part-1/

Andrew Brokos brings us a one part review of his run in a Stud8 WCOOP. He starts with a quick primer for those of us who’ve never played this variant. He uses the PokerStars replayer which I actually like a lot. He ends up busting after about an hour of play. I learned a bit, but I dont think I will be playing this game any time soon.

FTP $11 2-day MTT Hand History Review by Matt Hunt

Matt Hunt continues his series on a Full Tilt Poker 2-day tournament he ran deep in. In part 2, he starts by using Holdem resources to analysis a decision to raise AQs with about 16bbs instead of ripping it. He also used Slice in several spots. In part 3, he starts day 2 with about 20bbs and continues making good decisions in spots to grind it up to 33bbs by the end of the video.

Stop and Go: River Raise Sizing by Andrew Brokos

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/stop-and-go/andrew_brokos_river_raise/

Andrew brings us a Stop & Go hand where he plays 99 and binks a set on the river. He makes a large raise on the river because he has a lot of air in his range at this point.

Stop and Go: Defending BB vs SB by Matt Hunt

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/stop-and-go/defending-bb-vs-sb/

Matt Hunt brings us a Stop & Go hand where he plays 76o in the BB vs a SB open. He calls flop with a pair and picks up a double gutter on the turn. Unfortunately he shoves the river and runs into the top of villain’s range.
