Hey guys. This week is going to be slightly light-on compared to other weeks. By the time you have read this I will have hopefully shippe d around $100k in a $1k tourney that I am travelling interstate for. But I have kindly been given a sneak peek of this week’s videos, so I can still review them. This week continues with the uber-series that is the Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6 109r Dual Live Sweat, with three parts. We also get a video on DannyN13’s TCOOP Main Event deep run.

For those TPE members on the east coast of the US, many of the TPE pros will be descending on Atlantic City for the WSOPC the week of 3/2.  Check it out here: https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/forum/live-poker/official-wsopc-caesars-atlantic-city-march-1-march-12-2012/.  They will be buying breakfast for TPE members before day 2B of the 2nd event (Saturday morning).

February 24th, 2012 – Poker Stars $109r Dual Sweat Hand Analysis with bigdogpckt5s and KidCardiff6

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/podcasts/

The TPE Podcast is back this week with a great visit by bigdogpckt5s and Ben "KidCardiff6" Warrington.  The boys interview Ben and learn about his background, including the early days grinding on Poker Room.  We learn about his rise and a little bit about the poker scene in Europe.  Bigdog joins for a conversation around the current running dual live sweat video series that is running featuring their deep runs in the 100r.  They cover key hands that they played against each other and talk general late stage MTT strategy.

Videos

Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6 109r Dual Live Sweat (Part 5,6,7 of 10)

The first part of part 5 is Bigdog finishing his solo live sweat. . As usual, Bigdog is piling on the aggression and is chip leader with 28 left, when KidCardiff joins the table. At this point, RonFezBuddy has managed to work his magic and the two videos are spliced together so we get to see Bigdog’s perspective on the hand, then Ben’s. RFB has done a huge amount of work to get this video together, and it works really well.

Part6 starts with bang where Bigdog and Ben play a few huge pots. The format of switching between the two players is just amazing, I think they both need to run deep in the same tourney more often! I won’t give away who wins the big pots, but the chips certainly do go flying.

Part 7 see’s Ben fighting to build his stack above the average, while Bigdog has a tough spot on the river against “Halfrek.” The field is dwindling down to the final two tables and it starts getting interesting! Unfortunately for us Ben gets moved to the other table near the end, but hopefully they can both make it to the final table!

TurboCOOP Main Event Live Sweat with DannyN13

DannyN13 gave it a good run in the TCOOP Main Event (which we all were sweating live on twitter following the #tpedge hashtag).  He was recording live and here he kicks off his series with part one which is the early stages of the tournament.

Forum

This week in the forum, rivermen123 posts his own video for review and it generates a ton of discussion at:

A great thread that has been going for a while now was started by TPE Pro Marc Alioto, where you can ask him anything you like. So fire away!

And one of last week's most popular threads continues to get attention as Squibsorz has just made it into the money in the Merge 100k with 34bb, and he gets shoved on pre by the original raiser:
