Matthew Hunt brings us a theory series on playing short stacks well. He uses the Holdem Resources Calculator to analyze 25bb and under play. In part 1, he looks at shoving 10bbs blind vs. blind and then comparing these ranges to the ranges used when shoving it from earlier positions. In part 2, he looks at the same spots but this time he discusses playing exploitively based on any reads we have on our opponents.

Merfinis continues his hand history review of his deep run in the Big 162 on Poker Stars. In part 2, he starts with 55bbs and continues to put pressure on the short stacks. He ends the video with about 20bbs due to the level increases. In part 3, he picks up KK early and gets a much needed double then follows it up with another KK for the triple! From there he continues to chip up all the way into the money.

Merfinis brings us a Stop & Go hand where he plays ATs from the BB. He faces an open from the BTN and a shove from the SB. Knowing that both players can be light in this spot, he runs some numbers and considers the profitablilty of an overcall.
