Hey everyone, I hope you are not too pokered out after watching that marathon WSOP final table – I managed to pick it up after 11 hours of 3 handed play so I caught the final hour of 3 handed and then the heads up. The coverage was great. Unfortunately as far as TPE is concerned, TPE sponsored October Niner Robert Salaburu only managed 8th place on the final table. Turning to the content on TPE this week, we catch up with DannyN13 as he goes through his deep run in a WCOOP tourney, Daryl Jace finishes off his hand history review, and we welcome Jamie Kerstetter with her premiere series.

WCOOP Deep Run Hand History Review with DannyN13

Part 3

Part 4

In part 3 DannyN13 has around 90bb and getting close to the money, and he takes a few alternative lines in different spots which is interesting for the reasoning behind those lines. In part 4 Danny continues to run deep into the tournament. It is interesting that Danny is still 3betting hands like AJ and KQ, which is different to other pros on the site, so it shows that there can be more than one way to play a hand.

$215 Deep Run Hand History Review with Daryl “aaaaaaaa” Jace

Part 6

In part 6 we return to the action with Daryl having close to 50bb on the final two tables, but it seems everyone is deep. As a result everyone is contesting pots and not giving up easily. He also identifies some spots where he could have been a little more aggressive and how to adjust to the dynamics of the table.

Jamie Kerstetter Premiere Series

Part 1

TPE welcomes new pro Jamie Kerstetter, who brings a mixed stakes live sweat on Pokerstars. She raises some interesting points on how we should adjust our strategy according to structure, and how the structure and buyin of a tournament will change our opponents range. She also draws some interesting parallels between live poker and online poker. Jamie has recently converted to using a HUD and also elaborates on changes in her game and adjustments she has made.
