What a fun week at TPE! We have a couple of great new video series from Rivermen123 and DannyN13, Cory Waaland continues with his Maximus review, and the article this week is one for the (stone) ages. I have never had as much fun in the forums as I had this week discussing strategy. It was awesome. Plus we shipped some dimes. Aint nothing wrong with that.

Cory “MJ23STYLEz” Waaland Premiere Video – Maximus Main Event Win Mid Stages HH Review

Cory continues the mid to late stages of his HH review. We are now ITM and he is riding the 20-40bb wave like a champ. Not much room to do much else, but he mixes in some light bets and 3-bets to keep his head above water. Towards the end, he gets his hands on some chips so the next part should be fun.

Rivermen123 brings us a live sweat this week on the Bovada and Merge networks. He’s got 6 tables across different buy ins and tourney types. He starts with small stakes stuff in part 1, but throws in the high buy ins in part two. Make sure you download the 1280×720 video to see this one clearly.

$109/30K Turbo HH review with DannyN13

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/10930k-turbo-hh-review-with-dannyn13-part-1/

Danny is back this week with a HH review of a turbo MTT. He points out a few unorthodox spots where he could get involved in the early levels. If he can do this in a turbo, then I must definitely be playing too tight in my freezeouts. Be sure to catch his advice on turbo pay jumps. Worth the price of admission.

Why Bad Cavemen Make Good Poker Players

This was a fun article. At the time I read it, I needed the chuckle I got from the title. But make no mistake, there is some serious substance in this cupcake. The article talks about two types of thinking errors from behavioral science that poker players are prone to make. Understanding these will help you figure out why you are or aren’t crushing.
