Hey guys. I am back at home after a couple of weeks away, and my wallet is a lot lighter, with no deep runs to speak of from about 5 tourneys. I guess that means I have to keep studying hard. For our US friends, the big event of the week is the WSOP circuit event at Caesars Atlantic City, and with a big event comes a TPE Live Podcast! In terms of videos, we get two from the uber-series that is the Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6 109r Dual Live Sweat, and two videos from DannyN13’s TurboCOOP Main Event Live Sweat.

Podcast

TPE Live – WSOP Circuit Event Caesars Atlantic City (16:20)

Tim “TTwist” Kelly and Danny “DannyN13” Noseworthy join the crew to talk about the first couple of days in Atlantic City, and I am sure we will see another few podcasts from the boys as they crush the circuit event!

Videos

Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6 109r Dual Live Sweat (Part 8,9 of 10)

In part 8 it is getting very close to the final table, and it is time to start winning a few flips, which we all know Bigdog is exceptionally skilled at! Bigdog is chip leader with 11 left, but Ben is struggling to find some good spots near the final table bubble.

In part 9, Bigdog is made the final table, although unfortunately he is flying solo as Ben busted at the end of the last video. The video starts eight handed, and although there is a very interesting hand early on with deuces, Bigdog tightens up considerably because he is the big stack and can afford to, although there are still plenty of opportunities for Bigdog to do what he does best and attempt to mess with people. There is plenty of action from the other stacks though, with some 5 and 6bet pots. A key pot near the end of the video puts the Bigdog in pole position for the win.

TurboCOOP Main Event Live Sweat with DannyN13 (Parts 2, 3 of 4)

Part 2 starts with the blinds at 200/400, it is a turbo after all so the blinds are flying along. Danny built his stack nicely after a couple of decent pots in part 1, and in part 2 it is time to get active. There is a HUGE pot early on where Danny makes an incredible call and then switches into beast mode and runs up a super stack, although it is not all smooth sailing. In Part 3, Danny keeps the aggression going and goes on a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Towards the end of the video he does win a couple of key pots though, to get right back among the bigger stacks.

Forum

The forums have been a hive of activity this week, with lots of great strategy threads. “mcgcanwin2” has JJ UTG on the final two tables of a 6max tourney, “hawkeyeK9” has KJo on the final table of a $4r on Merge, “OkieNGa” is finds a tough spot very early in a Venetian $550 Deepstack, and there is some really top notch strategy in a thread posted by “mickman” who also has JJ.

There are also a couple of really great non hand related threads this week.  “vballfanatic1” asks how to get his tilt under control after hitting a very bad patch, and “donskey” writes an excellent post on his experiences in building a bankroll. Both are well worth checking out.

Member Scores

This week “isaacjames” ships a 3k gtd on Merge, “Miniman04” makes another three final tables (yawn!), and “hapetimes” gets unlucky and just misses a big score on two different tournaments.

See you at the tables!
