Hey guys, this week we have the conclusion of the epicness that was the Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6 109r Dual Live Sweat, and also DannyN13’s deep run in the TurboCOOP Main Event. For lower stakes players, there are two new series that you will be interested in, a micro-stakes live sweat with ttwist, and BourbonFTW returns with a hand history review of “switelex” and his deep run in a 3k on Merge. So there is a nice mix of low and high stakes action.

We also have another podcast from the WSOPC event, this time it is a full hand discussion podcast with Danny "DannyN13" Noseworthy and Shaun "Cougars4444" Hendrickson.

WSOPC Hand Analysis with DannyN13 and Cougars4444 (99:01)

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/podcasts/

As we know, a big TPE contingent made their way down to Atlantic City for the WSOPC event, and DannyN13 and Cougars4444 join RonFezBuddy and Killingbird to discuss how they went, and to discuss some hands from the weekend. There is some great information about how to play soft live fields, especially for those that are mostly online players.

Bigdogpckt5′s and KidCardiff6 109r Dual Live Sweat (Part10 of 10)

Part 10

Here it is, we finally reach the conclusion of the longest video series in TPE history. We re-join the action with Bigdogpckt5s five handed at the final table and a huge chip leader, nearly as much as the rest of the table combined. In typical Bigdog fashion, he dominates right up until the heads up battle, and reminds panda’s that they only eat leaves, but he unfortunately gets a bit unlucky heads up and finishes second. A slightly disappointing way to finish this massive series, but in my opinion it was still one of the best that TPE has produced.

TurboCOOP Main Event Live Sweat with DannyN13 (Parts 4 of 4)

Part 4 starts with Danny close to the bubble, so there is not much action as all of the shorter stacks are trying to stall a bit, but Danny still has a great stack and has been abusing the bubble nicely. As the tourney progresses, the turbo nature of the tourney becomes ever more apparent, and Danny goes off to the races several times.

Unfortunately for DannyN13 his bustout hand wasn’t pretty, so if you would like to see the uncensored version here it is https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/forum/off-topic/bonus-video/

Micro Madness with ttwist (Part 1 of 2)

It has been a little while, but ttwist makes his video return. It has also been a while since we have seen some micro stakes content on the site, so for those of us that are still building a bankroll, this series should be great. Here ttwist plays a couple of different $2 tourneys on stars, as well as a $3 bounty turbo on Lock Poker. At the micros, ttwist concentrates on playing solid poker, but really needs to work on his rungood skills because they are horrible!

BourbonFTW Member Hand History Review for swhitelex (Part 1 of 3)

Another pro who we haven’t seen in a while, BourbonFTW also returns this week, this time it’s a hand history review of “switelex” in the $3k guarantee rebuy on Lock. It is great to see a rebuy tournament as there hasn’t been too many recently at the lower stakes. BourbonFTW has some great tips on bet sizing especially 3bet sizing. “switelex” also has to deal with TPE member “insidiously” on his right towards the end of the video. I also like the EV calculations that BourbonFTW performs.

Forum

In the forums this week there were lots of really interesting threads.

“Tiny_Molester” asks a question where EV calculations are required

https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/forum/mtt-poker-strategy/fundamental-ev-question/

“mini bomber” must have been reviewing old hand histories, because he has pulled out a hand from an FTOPS event where he plays against the one and only “gboro780”.

“QuadJokers” also posts a really interesting spot where he is dealt 77 with 20bb behind.

Lastly, if there are any members from Australia or somewhere close, “cousteer” is attempting to get a Pokerstars home game started. The goal is to be able to get a core group of players together with the aim of running a series of satellites to put someone into a large live tournament in the region. Member Scores

The big tournament series going on at the moment is the Poker Maximus series on Merge, so naturally there has been a flurry of cashes, and the TPE nation generally crushing. I have written a separate article dedicated to the exploits of those running deep in that series.

The other major member score was from someone who was a little too shy to post, but “hapetimes” was kind enough to let everyone know about the great effort. “emufart” managed to ship a $100 deepstack event on Titan for $5.6k, well done!

Good luck to everyone playing in the Poker Maximus series, there is still plenty of action to come, so hopefully a TPE member can ship a big one! Also on the upcoming schedule is the MicroMillions on Pokerstars, which starts on the 15th of march, so there are some big tourneys to look forward to. I will be trying my best to ship one of these!

See you at the tables!
