WSOP ME Day 3 – The End

Posted by & filed under Articles, BlogPost.

Well, that’s it for my run at the WSOP Main Event. I made it halfway through day 3. The highpoint of my stack the entire tournament was 62k. There’s not much to say here. I made it through this far picking up blinds and 3 bet stealing. There was very little in the way of… Read more »

WSOP Day 2b

Well, I made it through Day 2. On to day 3 with 45k. Blinds will be 500/1000 100ante for the first hour and then go to 600/1200 200 ante. The average stack is around 86k so I’m not in super comfortable shape but having 45bbs in a tournament actually seems like a lot to me!… Read more »

Day 1d – WSOP ME

Posted by & filed under Articles, BlogPost.

Made it through to day 2! Was a rollercoaster of a day. I ended up with ~24k after being down to about 20k during level 2 and then as big as 60k during level 3. My table was pretty soft. A few older guys and a few burly home-game type players. Just one or two… Read more »

Manage your BR. Nah, play for the big score. You’re due to break out of your downswing. Those are the conflicting thoughts that have been going through my head the last few weeks. Stop Whining, Start Winning

You’re not special. You don’t deserve any better luck than anyone else playing poker. Your downswing and bad beats are not unique—so stop focusing on them. Was that mean? Sorry, but poker is a game of hard realities and the sooner you understand the three sentences above, the sooner you will be on your way… Read more »

So Close to a WSOP ME Seat – TWICE

Posted by & filed under Articles, BlogPost.

Man i don’t like to dwell on close calls but in the last two days I’ve finished 3/81 for a WSOP seat and 2/81 for a WSOP seat in the nightly FTP Double Shootout satellites. On Sunday night I was never really a big factor at the second table but somehow found myself 3 handed… Read more »

Going into Day 3 of the NAPT!

Posted by & filed under Articles, BlogPost.

I'm currently 53/125  going into day 3.  104 get paid so that bubble is approaching. I have a tough table draw with the CL there, Jordan "I'm so lucky" Morgan. Yesterday was up and down.  For the first three levels I dominated my pretty soft table and ran up to 241k.  I knocked out Griffin… Read more »
